Leah, I am so glad you stopped by, it has been fun catching up with your blog. I so need the book of doodles you got for your birthday. I am putting that on my wish list. I love doodling, but I never got farther than hearts, rainbows and clouds when I was a kid. It's really hard to start doodling anything different than that now. I am trying though, I try to doodle something everyday. Have you seen the new art calender on Kathryn's Wheel? She is encouraging everyone to make their own calendars, and doodle something every day for an entire year. I am trying!!!
I have to tell you that I had my daughter dip oranges into chocolate. And man, are they good. I don't quite know how oranges went from the fruit/veggies category into the dessert category, but they did. I will never look at an orange the same way again...
Sounds like you had a great birthday, love your presents! Have a good week, we are off to ice skating at Centennial Lakes in Edina. It's a beautiful place, any season. If you are ever in the area, your family will have to stop by there. In the summer they give free concerts three times a week. There is a man-made lake and tons of fun activities. We took our oldest daughter and her friends there, and they had a blast. And they never have fun in the company of their parents anymore... That they let us see anyways! Kate PS- Good luck with the Coach purse rescue mission!!! And sorry for the long comment!!!
I was invited to go to that skating rink a few weeks ago. It's pretty far away for us, but I would love to go sometime. I love, love, love drawing! I think it's what I want to go to school for. We got the doodle book from Boarders. So it won't be hard to find. Thanks for commenting! ~Leah Marie
