hello earthlings!

i know i haven't posted in a million years, but that's 'cause i've been pretty darn busy.

a little over a week ago, i was at a festival called lifest. if you're wondering what it is, it's kinda hard to explain. basically, you go there, {we camped for all 5 days} go to concerts like family force 5 and skillet.

also add awesome, friendly people & good food, you get a heck of a good time! :)

plus, what's even better, is that there's tons of people wanting to share the truth with anyone who will listen. yay!

so needless to say, best part of my summer hands down.

i'm so going next year. you should too!

Well, I've been having a fabulous time camping so far! It's been great.

We only have one more campground after this, then we go home. I can't believe it!

It seems like I've been gone forever, but I still can't believe that we don't even have a week left.

One of my favorite campgrounds that we've been to is Ruby's Inn.

It was so awesome there! It is a tourist trap though. But I'm a tourist! :]

I'm going camping!

Well, we're in Colorado. We left yesterday.

So, traveling with 5 people in a Minnie Winnie can be a little stressful.

{even when you're not driving up a mountain.}

I think I've gotten more sleep on this trip then I've gotten in a weeks time!

It feels so good to not be exhausted.

The campground that we're staying at is pretty nice, but it's only for 1 or 2 nights.

I'm missing Lacey. Having her sleep with me at night helps my sleeping I think.

back to spain...

Rosa {a exchange student from Spain, who is/was living with our friends for a year} is leaving today. Emily and I spent the night there last night and said good bye this morning.

This family has had had other exchange students before, but they were more of acquaintances to me.

With Rosa, it was more like seeing her twice a week!

Now I want to got to Spain! We {emily, rosa & i} talked to her mom and brother over Skype this morning, {before rosa went to the airport} and her mom asked when we were coming!

Well, if that's not an invitation, I don't know what is!

We had some good times this year. :]

Lacey's recovering

My lil' baby is recovering. She's had quite the day!

This morning she went in for surgery.

I have to say when I found out she was going

to have it I wasn't surprised.

She had some rotten teeth that needed to be removed.

It's pretty gross, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I feel so bad for her! She's sleeping on my bed right now... {She's definitely not lacking for the comfort I could give her!}

So now, I have a pup that doesn't have many teeth.

I can only imagine what she must be thinking about right now. Poor baby.
