Busy Day

So, tonight is American Idol. It seems like a good way to end a busy day. This morning we went to art class (I'll post some photos of my finished artwork) then we went to Border's. I got to pick out my birthday present! OK yes I do know all my birthday presents... I know. It's sad. I don't have too long to get them though! This Friday I will have them all in my possession. :) I started milking it tonight. Daniel was like: ''Leah! You can't start milking your birthday yet!" Me: ''Yes I can! You started two weeks before yours!'' So... Maybe it wasn't two weeks, but you never know! Oh yeah, the highlight of the whole day: dentist! Ugh. Big no likie. I felt like I was going to barf when she put the fluoride in my mouth. I'm just glad it's done with. Now, with Lacey sleeping on my lap as things are peaceful, it seems like everything is right in the world.

This is the cake I want. Here you go Emily!

You only THINK you know all your birthday presents! I guess I shouldn't let you be involved in the "picking out" process!

You're right. Today was busy, busy, busy. I'm glad to be done with the dentist as well.

Hi Leah,
Just read your moms blog and she mentioned that you had a birthday coming up, so thought I would pop in and wish you a Happy Birthday! (My kids have school off on Thursday and Friday, so I am planning on no time for blogging then.

Have a wonderful birthday, and hey, if you can get away with milking out your birthday for an entire week, more power to you. I have learned the anticipation is sometimes better than the actual event. I think that comes with "old age" though. (And just for your info, I am really not that old...) Just want to make that clear, no walkers for me here yet... Just don't ask any of my kids, to them, I should go to a nursing home any day now...

Hope your birthday is wonderful! 14 is a very important age, you know!
Kate

HA! I hate it when I give presents and people figure out what it is BEFORE they open it.
One year I guessed my presents and my sister's. I guess right, too.
