School and life have been keeping me pretty busy.
My life is about to get much busier for the next few weeks, though. Tomorrow, in fact, I leave for South Dakota for work. I'll be there for two weeks, and then my mom leaves for Vegas for a working trip a few days after I get home. Our family isn't going to be together much until mid February!
Hopefully then life will settle down a bit. :)
I'm loving Pinterest so much! Here's some of my favorites:

I probably won't be blogging while I'm gone, but you never know!

the hunger games
{Warning: this contains spoilers! Go read the books, and then come back. That means you too, Jessie! :)}
I have to say, I was a bit skeptical when I heard everyone raving about these books.
Well...
I got the book set for Christmas, and when I started them a day later, I was done in 4 days.
They are SO good.
I finished the last book a week or so ago, and I am completely hooked. I can't wait for the movie to come out!
I have to say, while I really love the Hunger Games, Catching Fire is probably my favorite. Because by that time, you know Katniss isn't actually always faking being in love with Peeta. But seriously, she could just make up her mind already between him and Gale. Go for the gold, I say, because Peeta is seriously golden. If I was in her place though, would I really act any different? I mean, she's only 17 by this time, so she's still pretty young.
The Mocking Jay is probably the most heart wrenching book. Ever. Not only is Peeta missing from the first half of the book, but when he gets rescued, he's been hijacked! I just about died when I read that he almost choked Katniss. Gahhhh!
The best quote from the whole series right here:
"You're still trying to protect me. Real or not real," he whispers.
I'm definitely a happy ending person, so in my mind, the ending of Mocking Jay could've been longer. But I know it was meant to be that way on purpose. So in the end, I'm glad that at least it has a happy ending.
P.S! I forgot to add, today is my little brothers 12th birthday! Happy Birthday, Daniel!

"Real," I answer. "Because that's what you and I do. Protect each other."
That line just kills me each time.

Hey, it's only 76 days until the movie comes out, right?
