superbowl XLV

today is the superbowl. yay!

this, for me, is the most exciting football game.

usually i have a hard time sitting still {or i fall asleep}. but not this game!

{...well, hopefully not. i am kinda tired!}

this year especially because it's my home team!

hello out there!

life has been crazy, as always.

my birthday was on saturday, so we had two of my grandma's over & my aunt & uncle over for dinner & the baked alaska i made.

{it was my first experience & i give it an A+!}

seriously, it was beyond delish.

i also got a new phone a week ago, so that's what i've been taking my photos on.

{talk about convenient!}

so here are some of my cake making:

the beginning of my baked alaska. it took 2 days.

with the ice cream. i chose strawberry, but you can use any flavor.

with meringue. yummo. it is soo good!

now stick it in the oven for 5 minutes, & presto!

best birthday cake. ever. making it again next year for sure.

daniel says he wants it for his birthday now, too!

the next day, {sunday}, emilia, mom & i went for a snowshoe/walk in the field.

here i am in the woods. so beautiful. :]

i love the movies 'the devil wears prada', a walk to remember, singing in the rain & grandma got run over by a reindeer.

i listen to country most of the time.

i live in a small town. we moved here about 6 (or 7?) years ago.

i like fl. it's an amazing state.

i watched the packers get into the superbowl last night, did you?

i would like to make baked alaska for my birthday. i think i'll give it a try.

oh and i think arizona is a cool state too.

i like ford.

right now i'm trying to {slowly} download some of the photos you see here from my phone onto my computer.

my mom took my phone with her {out of town} because hers busted, so she is using mine for the time being.

but last night, we went to the verizon store to see if we could set up a contract, but alas, we didn't have time.

i was thinking, last night, i might get a new phone, so i sent all the photos from my phone to my email.

but anywho, i was looking through them all & it's funny to see such old photos.!

i can't wait until saturday!

last sunday we went & saw debbie reynolds! it was so exciting! she looks amazing for being 78.

and then we went to our friends house for sledding & games.

today i was fitted with my "real" retainer. so just when i had gotten used to the temporary retainer, i had to get a new one. oh well.

oh and a couple a few days ago lacey got her hair cut!

{finally. she looks so cute!}

sissy left for colorado today.
