Remembering

Today is my cousins birthday -she would've been 23. Sam was only 15 when she was killed in a car crash, but she always seemed so old to me. I wanted to be just like her, and I still do. I still miss her so much it hurts.

But, this isn’t the end. I’ll see her again, I know that -but it’s still hard. For now, I’m going to focus on the life and loved ones I have, because life is precious.

We were all in my aunts wedding. :)

Happy Thursday, friends.

Those are some very wise words coming from a 15 year old girl! I'm sad that the lesson had to be so painful to learn them. :( We will go to our graves missing Sam but you are right when you say that we WILL see her again! Thank you Jesus for conquering the grave!

Love you, honey.

what beautiful flower girls :) i'm sure your cousin is very well taken care of now, and it's lovely that the memories you've kept of her are simple and beautiful.

Thank you!
My sister & I were flower girls (I’m the little brunette!) & Sam was the brides attendant. :)
