Hey everyone!
I'm back from my grand adventure, and if you follow me on twitter, you know it was indeed an adventure.
I have to admit, although I didn't write about it on here, I was very nervous about the whole thing. I'd never been away from home by myself for two weeks (please note, I was not all by myself. I took this trip with my aunt and uncle). And I'd never had to work for two weeks straight (I did get one day off- it was wonderful!)
I have to say, it was one of the best things I've ever done. Even though I wanted to give up several times & just go home.
I missed my mom. I missed Lacey. I missed my bed.
I knew I wanted to finish strong, and I knew I'd be so proud of myself when I was done, so I decided to get tough. And now, I can honestly say, I
want to go back, which is pretty big considering how much I was wishing I could stay home.
I had a pretty great time.
My friends mom was asking how I felt about my mom being able to go to Nevada and my sister being able to go to Denver when all I got to go to was Rapid City. I told her is was
no problem! There are a
lot of
cute cowboys out there, you see.
;)
Example A: Tuf Cooper. World champion cowboy.
Andddd he's a Christian! Yay! (you may be able to see "Jesus" stitched into his collar.) I'm a fan.
I guess I also forgot how beautiful South Dakota is. I mean, I want to live there now! So awesome.
Jim (our rep and great friend) took me to Mount Rushmore on my day off. He was so incredibly kind to me, he even bought my some GT's kombucha when I was sick.
I'll post about my birthday later, which we celebrated after I got home.
:)
xoxo
