So here we are in London, day two. Today we went with Arlene, Christian, Karl & Adam. First, we went to Saint Paul’s Cathedral. It was really neat, my favorite part was the whispering gallery. I saw it on Rick Steve’s show, so I thought it was really cool to see it in person. Then, we got some M&S lunch. I wish they had Mark’s & Spencer’s here. Yum. Anyways, then we took the tube to the Sherlock Holm’s museum. It was a little cheesy, but cute none the less. Then my personal favorite of the day- the park/gardens. It was so beautiful. I loved all the roses- they had a million different kinds. We took the train home and Christian made us a true Scottish meal. I was brave and I tried everything, but I have to admit- some of it was a bit of a stretch. :)
Next up: Paris!
Starting the day right: Adam goofing off.
At the top of the cathedral. Fab view.
London.
Just to clarify here: I am short, but I usually don’t look that short. Compared to Karl, though, I am dwarfed. :)

incredelible... it looks like you had an awesome time. :D I have to say I think I like stonehenge the best... but it all looks amazing. :)
Welcome back to America! ;) Is life suddenly boring or is it good to be back?
Katherine, We did. I had such an amazing time, I really want to go back! Stonehenge was fabulous. The only problem was that it was really cold, rainy & windy! So we didn’t get to spend as much time there as we wanted. It’s good to be home, and it’s good to have people talk the same as you. (Did you ever notice American’s change all their t’s to d’s? ha ha :)
Looks like a fabulous trip! Thanks for sharing all of your great shots.

WOW!!! I had a lot to catch up on! What a trip! & how perfect to travel with your mom & sister. No better way! Your pictures are gorgeous! You have a great camera eye! That pic of the ruins is pretty amazing :) Boy I sure wish I would have snuck into your luggage...although I would not fit in the overhead compartment :)
Yaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
As someone from the UK who LOVES M&S (my mother works there!), I can honestly say I laughed out loud at your comment about the store. M&S is such a good place for grabbing lunch!
Aww, Leah, your post is making me homesick for England! We had so much fun... Family, food, fun, seeing the sights, it was ALL great! The best part was seeing it all with you and Emily. I will treasure my memories forever.
